Power supply and distribution is a multi-discipline operation that demands precise engineering, statutory coordination, and execution discipline to be completed safely and on schedule. A wrongly sized transformer, a delayed shutdown approval, or an undertrained switchgear crew can derail a project and leave an entire township or industrial unit without power for weeks.

At Simplex Electricals, we have built our power distribution capability to handle every stage in-house — from the first load survey to the moment the system is energised and handed over. Our teams are experienced in HT substation erection, 33kV and 11kV overhead and underground network construction, and LT distribution system installation. Our electrical crews are trained in transformer terminations, panel erection, protection relay setting, metering, and earthing for systems up to 33kV.

Key Scope Areas

Load Survey, Single Line Diagram & Method Statement

We begin every project with a detailed load survey and demand assessment — sizing transformers, feeders, and switchgear correctly from day one. Single line diagrams, equipment schedules, and method statements are prepared ensuring zero ambiguity at the execution stage.

33kV / 11kV Substation Erection

We execute complete HT substation packages including transformer, HT switchgear panels, busbars, earthing, safety hardware, metering instruments and redundancies — per CEA regulations and DISCOM specifications.

HT Overhead / Underground Line & Pole Structures

We erect 11kV overhead lines and underground lines with appropriate power cables, pole structures, with all modern hardwares and meters. Every structure is erected and hardware-fitted per utility drawing standards and relevant IE Rules.

Distribution Transformer Installation & Termination

We supply, erect, and commission distribution transformers with mounting structures, completing HT and LT cable termination kit installations, neutral earthing, switchgear connections, and oil commissioning checks before energisation.

LT Network Construction & Service Connections

From the transformer LT panel outward, we construct complete 415V distribution networks using ABC (Aerial Bunched Cable) or XLPE underground cable — including service pillars, junction boxes, street lighting feeders, and individual consumer service connections with metering arrangements.

Shutdown Liaising, Testing & Commissioning

Our team manages the shutdown coordination process with DISCOMs and Railways wherever required, executing all live-line connections safely within approved windows. After completion, the system is tested, the network is charged and handed over turnkey with full work guarantee.
